What an adventure! We had the privilege of learning and creating under the direction of world renowned floral artist Gregor Lersch and Chapel Designers Founder Holly Chapple with special guest teachers Francoise Weeks, Hitomi Gilliam, Susan Mcleary and Alison Ellis. We spent each day on the serene grounds of Hope Flower Farm studying the mechanics and design aesthetics perfected by our highly sought after teachers. Our time together closed with a Flora & Fauna Fashion Show where our students saw their work hit the runway worn by some very special models.
A very special Luncheon it was! We hosted a botanical couture fashion show in our dairy barn. The feeding trough of the barn was converted into an epic runway. Our models were courageous cancer survivors and the advocates that support them. Models were adorned in floral headpieces, botanical jewelry, and modeled other floral creations.
Our guests and attendees dined in our dairy barn decorated with seasonal florals by the industry's leading floral designers! All proceeds from the luncheon were donated to our two charities. We joined forces with Team Mathias and Along Comes Hope. These organizations benefit youth with pediatric cancer.
