DATE: October 17-18, 2016
(Welcome party at Hope on the evening of October 16th included with the Full Flowerstock Experience package)
TIME: 9:00 AM Until Whenever
LOCATION: Hope Flower Farm | Waterford, Va.
While standing on the property that would eventually become Hope Flower Farm, Holly Chapple allowed her imagination to run wild imagining a flower festival held in the gently sloping fields and impressive barns. Holly's dream continued growing after she purchased the farm as she witnessed the tranquility the farm brought to the floral designers who traveled to spend time there learning and renewing their passion for their craft.
Flowerstock is the culmination Holly's daydreams over the past year and we're excited to invite you to be a part of Flowerstock 2016. Holly hopes to create for you a flower lover's dream! Two days of demonstrations/talks by renowned floral designers, shopping the marketplace of vendors chosen with you in mind, flower play, live music, food trucks, barn dancing, campfires and glamping.

Exciting news! Flowerstock will include a magnificent collaboration between Lisa Waud, creator of Detroit Flower Week, Holly Chapple, creator of Flowerstock and Joseph Massie!
From Joseph Massie: "So delighted to share that I'll be presenting a very special installation at Flowerstock 2016, at Hope Flower Farm in Virginia, immediately after my installation at Detroit Flower Week this October! I'm so looking forward to working on this installation with Holly Heider Chapple - I've worked with Holly previously in NYC, at The White House and in California, and I'm so excited to be teaming up with her again for this exciting installation, in collaboration with Lisa Waud's Detroit Flower Week.
We'll be working on an installation of connectivity, of community, to bring together these two fantastic floral events into one community driven installation. I couldn't be more excited and honoured to lead this project."

Design time will be flower play time intended for you to let your creative juices flow while being inspired by the Virginia landscape. Formal instruction will not be provided during this time, but guest designers may be on-hand to offer advice and critique your work if you so desire. You will also have the opportunity to enter a design competition w/ grand prize. Competition rules TBA at Flowerstock. Note: Design package not available with one-day pass.
Flowerstock is NOT a Chapel Designer event.
Flowerstock attendees have the choice to stay in a nearby hotel/B&B or stay on the farm in a European-inspired canvas shelter provided by Solid Ground Shelters. If you choose to stay in a tent, you have two options: the Flowerstock Deluxe Bed Tent package (accommodates 2 in queen or twin beds- includes genuine memory foam mattress with bed linens, pillow, comforter, end table, mat, bistro table with two chairs, and battery operated light) OR the Flowerstock Premium 4 Cot Tent (accommodates 4 - includes 4 camping cots, 4 pillows, 4 sleeping bags for you to keep upon your departure, a battery operated tent light, end table and rug). Please note: There will be portable toilet/sink facilities. Remember this is camping! Come clean and shiny and leave dirty, but inspired. Weather can be a bit unpredictable which will add to the adventure. We highly discourage having food in the tents as it might invite unwanted visitors to your tent (think raccoons & groundhogs)!
